ABOUT THIS WEBSITE In this website, you will learn about some of the concepts in baseball and also how baseball applies to Newton's Three Laws. This website also has pictures that will show you a few famous baseball players that you won't want to miss! INTRODUCTION Baseball has been an American favorite past time since the 1840s. It is a game played with two opposing teams composed of nine players each. The goal of the game is to score as many points possible by hitting a baseball with a bat and touching all four bases that are placed in a ninety foot square diamond without getting out. It might sound easy, but baseball takes a lot of concentration, skill and precision. Baseball applies to the Newton's Three Laws and an addition to that, there are a lot of physic concepts behind it and players have to apply these concepts to get the effect intended to win the game. |
